Lab Members Present at OEP

Keegan Nhan, Claudia Yong, and Cara Pekos presented at the Ontario Exercise Physiology last month in Kingston.

Keegan presented a 10-minute presentation detailing his completed master’s project findings. His project examined the effects of acute isometric handgrip exercise on cognitive performance and certain physiological measures in young healthy adults.

Claudia presented her fourth-year thesis project data at OEP. This project examined the associations between cardiorespiratory fitness and mood ratings in young healthy women using different oral contraceptives.

Cara wrapped up data collection for the control group of a study examining sex differences in cognitive performance following acute exercise this summer and presented data from this study at OEP.

Thank you to the OEP organizing committee for organizing such a great event!
